ANTHONY J. KUKULICH "Tony"
Tony
Kukulich, age 74 of Wilmington, DE passed away August 26, 2003.
Tony was born in Chester, PA to the late Anthony and Mary (Jarusinski)
Kukulich.
He was a 1946 graduate of Chester High School and a 1958 graduate of
Pennsylvania Military College. Tony was a senior project engineer at General
Motors, retiring in 1993 after 30 years.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was an active member of
Delaware Veterans Post #1. He was an accomplished artist and collector, an
art instructor at the Academy of Lifelong Learning and a member of Immaculate
Heart of Mary Church.
He is survived by his wife, Stella R. Kukulich; 5 children and their spouses,
Cheryl M. Brundage (Andrew) of Thorndale, PA, Andrea L. Flynn (Dennis) of
Davie, FL, Anthony M. (Jennifer) of Middletown, DE, Mark R. (Paula) of
Ashburn, VA, and Kimberly A. Adams (Adrian) of Media, PA; 1 brother, Joseph
R. (Ellen Marie) of Claymont; 2 sisters, Teresa Kukulich of Boothwyn, PA and
Mary Ann Harkins of Claymont; and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving
grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 30 at 10 am at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Shipley & Weldin Rds., Wilmington.
Friends may call at the MCCRERY FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington
(Rt.202 south of Silverside Rd.), from 7-9 pm on Friday, August 29 and on
Saturday from 8:30-9:30 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph's on the
Brandywine Cemetery.
