Stephen Michael Romeo
Steve was a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High
School and the Hotel Dupont Culinary Training Program in Wilmington, DE. He
was employed as the Regional Food Service Director for Atria Senior Living
Inc. based in Lousiville, Kentucky. Prior to that Steve was the Director of
Dining Services for Maris Grove, the Erickson Living facility in Chadds Ford,
PA and the Director of Culinary and Nutrition Services for several facilities
for ACTS Retirement Life Communities. Steve was also a professionally trained chef and
spent his entire career in the food service industry. Steve was very proud to
be a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan
who loved to entertain family and friends on "Eagle Sundays". He was preceded in death by his brother, Victor
Romeo and is survived by his wife, Maureen Romeo (McGinley), son, Stephen
Michael Jr., and daughters, Victoria Anne and Alexis; father and stepmother,
Victor and Susan Romeo of Cape May, NJ; mother, Patricia Brown of Port
Richey, FL; grandchildren, Emma Van Sickle and Michael Romeo as well as
friends that are far too numerous to mention. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 30, from
4:30-6:30 pm, at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Rd., Wilmington,
DE 19810 where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin promptly at 7 pm. Interment
will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the
"Romeo Children's Scholarship Fund" c/o TD Bank, 4010 Concord Pike,
