PETER WELSH Age 80,
of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Succasunna, NJ and Bronx, NY, passed away on
Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Heartland Hospice House. He was
a Korean War Veteran of the United States Air Force, Staff Sergant 1948-1952.
Peter was a retired systems analyst with Allied Chemical. He enjoyed spending
time with his grandchildren, traveling, horseracing, cards, trips to Atlantic
City and Delaware Park, golf, and bowling. He is
survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty Welsh; daughter, Donna Amis,
and husband, Martin of Wilmington; grandchildren, Matthew Amis and fiancé,
Sarah Moody of Wilmington, Drew Amis of Newark, Martin Amis of Wilmington;
many nieces and nephews throughout NY and NJ. A
funeral mass will be held on Saturday May 1, at 11 am, at the Church of the
Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE 19810 where friends may call
after 10 am. Interment will be private. Donations
in lieu of flowers, can be sent to Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree
