Donald G. Zuck

Of North Wilmington, DE, age 77, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008, at his son's home.

Mr. Zuck was born in Michigan, the son of the late Merlin Damore and Sigrid (Christianson) Zuck. Donald graduated from PS DuPont High School. Mr. Zuck served his country in the US Navy reserves from 1947 - 1949. He then entered the US Army, serving from 1949-1951. After his years in the service, Donald was employed as a communications engineer with AT&T, retiring in 1985. He furthered his career with Gannett Flemming, retiring in 2003. Mr. Zuck held a membership with the Delaware Veterans Club in North Wilmington. In his leisure time, he was enthralled in collecting O-Scale railroad trains

He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia, who passed away in 1990. Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Richard C. Zuck and his wife, Dian of New Castle, DE, Brian W. Zuck of North Wilmington, DE, and Donald McHugh of Harrington, DE; daughter, Sherry A. Tolman and her husband, Lonnie of Washington State; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12, at 1 pm, at the Gebhart funeral Home, 3401 Philadelphia Pike Claymont, DE, where friends may visit with the family from 12 noon-1 pm. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Liver Foundation , Delaware Valley Chapter, 111 Presidential Blvd. Suite 214, Bala Cynwyd, PA. 19004.
